    Is anyone using SharePoint metadata? Be interested in examples where it works

    Can anyone help with an answer? 

    Comments in the chat include:

    • Typically used you need to force consistent metadata at the document level i.e. contracts, controlled documents, RTI/FOI requests, HR files etc

    • sure am - if you have well structured sites and libraries it can be really powerful. and we love to use filtering and grouping options to customise views. so great for registers and other productivity tools using MSLists as well.

    Hi, I am in council/local government in NZ and I would also be interested to know what extra metadata is used for particular functions of council.
