  • 1.  M365 CoP question: how do you cleanup millions of legacy records?

    I have a question about the spring cleaning - when dealing with millions of records, how do you achieve the cleanup of legacy data?

    Can anyone help with an answer? 

    Comments in the chat include:

    • Spring Cleaning - We have focussed our efforts on our high value and high risk information 🙂  Managing millions of records with limited resources meant a significant change in our approach.

    • We are currently doing the same - looking at HRHV records but also considering some quick wins like targeting duplicate and old files. It's just a really manual process and I'm hoping to find a better way when it comes to appraisal and sentencing. If anyone has tips I would be very happy to hear them!

    Great question!  We have the same issue and not yet looked at this project. At a conference a few years ago, I met a company WyldLynx | Home  who showed a demo of their solutions.  I am sure there are also other projects out there and be great to here what other solutions there are.
